UPON ARRIVAL

Haneda Airport is the closest airport to central Tokyo and typically takes around 30–45 minutes to reach the city by train or taxi. Narita Airport is further out and usually takes between 60–90 minutes to reach central Tokyo. Trains such as the Narita Express and airport limousine buses are straightforward, comfortable options, while taxis are also available.

Tokyo’s public transport system is extremely reliable and well signposted in English. Once in the city, getting around by train or taxi is simple and efficient.
